Overview
This privacy statement explains how artography.pro processes personal data when you visit this website, contact us or take part in a photography, film or content production. It applies to website visitors, prospective and existing clients, suppliers, project partners and people who are photographed or filmed.
Processing is governed by the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection and the Data Protection Ordinance. Where applicable, we also take account of the European Union General Data Protection Regulation.

Purposes and principles
We process only the personal data needed to operate the website, communicate with you, prepare and deliver assignments, supply results, issue invoices, protect legitimate business interests and comply with legal obligations.
Where the GDPR applies, processing is based in particular on pre-contractual steps and performance of a contract, legal obligations, legitimate interests in secure and efficient operations, and consent where consent is required. We do not use automated decision-making or profiling.
Website and server logs
When the website is accessed, the web server may collect technical information. This may include the IP address, date and time, requested page or file, amount of data transferred, status code, referrer URL, browser and operating system. These data are required to deliver the website, diagnose errors and protect it against attacks.
The website and email service are hosted by METANET AG, Josefstrasse 218, 8005 Zurich, Switzerland. METANET processes technical and communications data as a processor and provides its hosting services in Swiss data centres. Server logs are normally deleted or anonymised within 30 days unless a security incident requires longer retention.
Cookies and tracking
The public artography.pro website does not itself use analytics, marketing or profiling cookies. It does not embed external webfonts, social media plugins, maps, video players or comparable tracking services. Visual effects and fonts are delivered locally.
No consent banner is therefore currently planned. If non-essential cookies or tracking services are introduced in the future, this statement will be updated and consent will be obtained where required.
Contact form and enquiries
When you contact us through the contact form, by email or by telephone, we process in particular your name, email address, optional company and telephone details, selected project type, preferred timing, the content of your enquiry and subsequent correspondence. This is done to answer your enquiry and prepare or perform a possible assignment.
The contact form is operated on the website hosted by METANET and sends the information entered directly to artography.pro by email. The information is not additionally stored in a website database. Local technical checks without an external captcha or tracking service are used to protect the form against automated and excessively frequent submissions. To limit repeated submissions over time, a pseudonymous identifier is derived from the IP address and browser information and temporarily stored on the web server together with the timestamps of form attempts. These entries are used solely for this security purpose within a 15-minute window; expired entries are removed when the form is next processed and are not combined with other data.
Enquiries that do not result in an assignment are normally deleted twelve months after the last contact unless legitimate interests or legal obligations require longer retention.
Clients and productions
For proposals and productions, we may process master and contact data, project information, appointment and location data, contract and invoice data, and image, video and audio files. Data may be obtained directly from the people concerned or supplied by the client.
The client is responsible for appropriately informing employees, models and other participants and for obtaining the permissions or releases required within the client’s area of responsibility. artography.pro can provide project-specific information or consent templates where useful.
Client projects or recognisable individuals are published as artography.pro references only with prior approval and within the agreed scope.
Recipients and providers
Access is limited to people and providers who need it for the relevant purpose. These may include METANET as hosting and email provider, project-specific production partners, accounting services and file transfer or storage providers agreed for a project.
Providers are selected carefully and, where required, contractually bound to confidential and data-compliant processing. Personal data are not sold or disclosed for third-party advertising.
International transfers
Regular web and email hosting takes place in Switzerland. Communication with people abroad or project-specific agreed services may result in data being transferred to other countries. Where necessary, we ensure an adequate level of protection or use appropriate contractual safeguards.
Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as needed for the relevant purpose. Contract, booking and invoice records are normally retained for ten years. Enquiries without an assignment are normally deleted after twelve months. Unless otherwise agreed, working and project files are retained for up to twelve months after delivery; permanent archiving is not owed.
Approved reference images may remain published until the underlying consent is withdrawn or for as long as the agreed reference purpose continues. Statutory retention obligations and the preservation or enforcement of legal claims remain reserved.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or delivery of your personal data and object to processing. Consent may be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future.
Requests should be sent to info@artography.pro. We may request proof of identity to prevent unauthorised disclosure. Data subjects may also contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner or, where competent, a European data protection authority.
Data security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. These include encrypted transmission, access restrictions, secure credentials, current systems and purpose-appropriate backups. Completely risk-free data transmission cannot be guaranteed.
External links
The website links to clients, partners and Mrose Consulting. When an external link is opened, the privacy terms of that provider apply. artography.pro does not actively transmit data to those websites before you click the link.
Changes
We may update this privacy statement if the website, our working practices or the legal framework change. The version published on this website is the current version.
